My first journal entry!  The first page of a new diary!  I just hope it doesn't go the way of all my previous diaries and get forgotten about after day 4!  I expect chastising emails if it does....

So then - book week, the new website, the DODS website, the wretched car(s), play rehearsals, and work.  I would say these are the matters of the moment!

Madam went to school suitable dressed as the Cat in the Hat on Monday.  The weekend was spent running around stuffing newspaper into tights, constructing top hats out of paper and finding all the snazaroo face paints (where would we be without them).  Topped off with dance tights, leotard and a plain black top, she didn't look bad!  Off they trotted onto the top playground, and a myriad of Anakin Skywalkers, Darth Vadars, Snow Whites trooped out for the parents.  There was, horror of horrors, another Cat in the Hat!  Not only that, but THIS cat had a proper costume with a white front and a red tie and......'yes dear but how was the face painted?'  Here was my ace card!  'It was rubbish, just whiskers!'  The day was saved and she is already planning next year's costume....

I have been left off rehearsals this week as Alan and Linda (my other half in the play and the director) are on holiday - so it is far too much time spent at the computer!

See you all soon!
